The project is <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism&#8217;s Home Affairs program 2014-2021<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">At the press conference, the main conclusions of the expert sociological study of the profile of third-country nationals seeking international protection and receiving temporary protection in Bulgaria, conducted within the framework of the project, were presented. The study is based on available statistical information, as well as on 25 in-depth interviews with representatives of the institutions and with Ukrainian refugees. Some key challenges identified in working with refugees granted temporary protection were outlined:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">It is necessary to strengthen the synergy between the responsible institutions regarding accommodation and provision of additional integration services, so that the most effective decisions are made.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Systems need to be strengthened in terms of data collection and aligned to common and rapid standards, with more digitization and easy exchange of up-to-date numbers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">On the agenda in the management of the process should be the preparation of integration measures for the persons granted with temporary protection.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"w-video align_none ratio_16x9 has_iframe\"><div class=\"w-video-h\"><iframe title=\"Youtube video player\" data-src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VY4hMReQzis?autoplay=0&controls=1&origin=https:\/\/braceandprotect.eu\/en\/&loop=0&mute=1\" allowfullscreen=\"1\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Mrs. Lyubov Panayotova, director of the European Institute, and experts-analysts on the project &#8211;
